Still on a high after the very successful Pinoy Dream Academy Grand Dream Night, the PDA 2 Top 6 appeared on the September 16 episode Boy & Kris. Grand Star Dreamer Laarni Lozada opened the show with her signature song "Manalig Ka," which wowed hosts Boy Abunda and Kris Aquino. Boy and Kris found the singing of the Independent Woman from Sultan Kudarat seamless and impeccable.

Afterwards, Kris asked Bugoy Drilon to clarify the comment he made in the last Awards Night. The 2nd Star Dreamer caused a stir when he said, "Sa puso ko ako pa rin ang Grand Star Dreamer." Bugoy explained, "Sa puso ko Grand Star Dreamer, lahat kami Grand Star Dreamer dahil nakapasok kami sa academy. Si Laarni po deserving maging Grand Star Dreamer. Hindi po ako disappointed kasi narinig lang ng lahat ‘yung boses ko, mai-share ko lang ‘yung talent ko sa mga tao masaya na ako."

Third Star Dreamer Miguel Mendoza became emotional when the subject of his family came up. Six months ago, he had left his mother to go live with his father. His mother was deeply pained by his decision, and Miguel’s relationship with her has become awkward since then. Apart from family problems, Miguel and longtime girlfriend Bea Muñoz (also a former scholar) haven’t resolved their issues yet.

Fourth Star Dreamer Liezel Garcia sang "I’d Rather," a Ryan Cayabyab composition featured in the PDA 2 Scholars Sing Cayabyab album. During their days inside the academy, Liezel had been teased several times because of her "no-boyfriend-since-birth" status. Now that Liezel is in showbiz, Boy feels excited for her that she might find the man of her dreams very soon.

Fifth Star Dreamer Van Roxas and Sixth Star Dreamer Cris Pastor both expressed their sadness about the end of PDA 2. But they—and the rest of the Top 6—are ready for whatever showbiz has in store for them.
